Rules

Forsaken Veil Server Rules

These rules exist to protect the community, the server, and the long-term vision of Forsaken Veil.

1. Respect Other Players

Treat players, staff, and community members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, threats, excessive toxicity, stalking, targeted abuse, or repeated disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

2. No Cheating, Exploiting, or Unauthorized Automation

The use of cheats, hacks, exploits, dupes, packet manipulation, malicious tools, unauthorized automation, or anything that gives an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

If you discover a bug or exploit, report it instead of abusing it. Knowingly abusing unintended mechanics, broken quests, broken encounters, economy bugs, pathing issues, or similar problems for gain may result in penalties.

3. Multiboxing Policy

Multiboxing is not allowed unless Forsaken Veil explicitly announces otherwise.

This includes controlling, assisting, or benefiting from multiple characters or accounts at the same time in a way that gives an unfair gameplay advantage, including but not limited to farming, PvP, battleground participation, boosting, economy abuse, or coordinated gameplay through one player controlling multiple characters.

Any attempt to bypass this rule through software, hardware, broadcasting tools, VM setups, remote controls, or similar methods is also prohibited.

Administrative, Game Master, moderator, or other elevated-access accounts may never be used for multiboxing. Doing so may result in immediate removal of privileges, revocation of staff access, suspension, or permanent account action.

4. No Real Money Trading

Buying, selling, or trading characters, accounts, gold, items, boosts, carries, services, or any in-game advantage for real-world money or external compensation is not allowed.

5. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for your own account, characters, and actions. Do not share your account with others. Staff is not responsible for losses caused by account sharing, weak passwords, or careless account security.

6. Naming Rules

Character, guild, arena team, pet, and similar names must be appropriate. Offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, racist, discriminatory, impersonating, or intentionally disruptive names are not allowed. Staff may require a rename or take action without warning.

7. Fair Play and Griefing

Do not intentionally ruin gameplay for others through griefing, repeated harassment, zone disruption, spawn camping beyond normal PvP expectations, event disruption, training mobs onto players, or abuse of game mechanics.

Competition, PvP, and world conflict are part of the game. Repeated behavior that crosses into targeted abuse or server disruption is not.

8. Communication Rules

Keep public chat, Discord, support channels, and other communication areas reasonably clean and respectful. Spam, malicious links, scams, impersonation, repeated trolling, disruptive advertising, and excessive channel disruption are not allowed.

9. Staff and Enforcement

Do not impersonate staff, misrepresent staff decisions, argue in bad faith to evade enforcement, or attempt to mislead staff during investigations. Refusing to cooperate during an active investigation may result in further action.

10. Beta / Testing Notice

Forsaken Veil is still in active development. Features, balance, content, systems, modules, rewards, and mechanics may change at any time during beta testing.

Bugs, resets, wipes, tuning changes, downtime, and unfinished features may occur as part of normal development and testing.

11. Use Common Sense

Not every situation can be covered by a written rule. If something clearly harms the server, community, economy, stability, fairness, or intended gameplay experience, staff may act even if the exact behavior is not listed word-for-word here.

Enforcement

Breaking the rules may result in warnings, mutes, forced renames, removal of rewards or items, character actions, suspensions, privilege removal, account penalties, or permanent bans depending on severity, intent, repetition, and impact.
